Types and prices tickets used in Paris (zone 1 and 2) :

This ticket can be used only in Paris, and once only as single ticket either for bus or metro (one ticket for the bus, another one for the Metro, etc. ...). It costs 1.40 Euros and ten tickets costs 10,70 Euros .


This ticket can be used starting Monday morning ending on Sunday midnight. It costs 15.10Euros for a week (51.50Euros for a month) and allows you to use any transportation type. It is personal (you can't lend it), so you need to keep on you your identity card :



with your first name, last name and a picture and your address on back side


This is a one day ticket, for all type of transportation and depend on the distance you need. For example, with the first price (5.40Euros ) you can use the bus, then the subway and visit different places, only with one ticket. And before midnight you can return home with the same ticket.



The Orange card is very useful to visit Paris, go to EAPLV and for your daily life (not expensive). And also if you need to visit a place far in suburb, use the Mobilis card (like Versailles castle, in zone 4, that cost 9 Euros ).


SEASON TICKET « IMAGINE R »

If you are a student under 26 you can take a yearly season ticket for the public transport system for 276,50Euros for 2 zones metro and bus transport within the gates of Paris.

To obtain this ticket you will need

. a registration certificate issued by EAPLV

. a passport photograph

. a form available at any RATP ticket office (Information office at Gare du Nord for example)
