Call for papers - Project practices and citizen mobilizations: living, resisting, experimenting

Study days to be held at ENSA Paris-La Villette and ENSA Versailles on Thursday, February 12 and Friday, February 13, 2026
  

Theme:

The aim of these two days of study is to examine the forms that planning conflicts take today, and the ways in which architecture and designers are involved in them. The aim of these study days is to create a pluralistic forum for discussion between researchers, designers, activists, teachers, artists, public officials and members of associations, in order to combine theoretical analysis, feedback from experience, stories from the field and alternative approaches to spatial production. Through these situations, we hope to highlight the complex relationships between the various actors in the urban fabric and their tools.

Three themes are proposed:

• Legacy and mutations of ecological mobilizations
• Reconfiguring professional roles and forms of expertise
• The project and its audiences: tools, narratives, imaginary worlds
