Erasmus+ mobility enables teachers and administrative, technical and scientific staff at higher education establishments (HEIs) to carry out a teaching assignment or training period in Europe.
This is an opportunity to improve language skills, enrich teaching practices and build up a network of international contacts.
These mobilities are financed with the support of the European Commission.

Erasmus+ teaching mobility
This activity enables teaching staff (tenured and contract) from higher education establishments (EES) to teach in a partner establishment abroad.
Doctoral students are treated in the same way as teaching staff, and as such can benefit from mobility to work in foreign fields or cross-cutting issues.
The duration of the teaching assignment must be a minimum of 8 hours per week. The total duration of the mobility period must not exceed 2 months, with a minimum of 2 consecutive days per mobility activity.
Teachers interested in these mobility assignments must complete an educational contract specifying :
- the main objectives of mobility ;
- the added value of mobility (in terms of the modernization and internationalization strategy of the establishments involved);
- curriculum content ;
- expected results and impact (e.g. on career development).
Erasmus+ training mobility
This activity supports the professional development of administrative staff at higher education institutions (HEIs) in the form of training events abroad (excluding conferences) and periods of job shadowing/training at a partner educational institution or other relevant organization abroad.
The total duration of the mobility period must not exceed two months, with a minimum of two consecutive days per mobility activity.
Staff (permanent and contract) interested in these mobility assignments must complete an educational contract specifying :
- the main objectives of mobility ;
- the added value of mobility for the position held;
- the content of the training program ;
- expected results and impact (e.g. on career development).
