• Model workshop

The model workshop is an essential tool in the training of architects, as it enables students to approach the third dimension in volume, an essential element of architectural education.
This production facility enables students to produce in volume any artistic or technical project related to their course of study: study models, structural models, rendering models, detailing models, naval architecture models, plastic arts models, furniture models, prototypes, etc.
On-site managers and instructors provide teaching support, advice and specific training on each machine. On an ad hoc basis, they can also help students or groups of students to build 1:1 scale projects.
The workshop also responds to specific requests from teachers as part of their courses.

Two poles: traditional and digital

The traditional workshop is open to students of all levels. It enables you to work with wood, polystyrene foam, sheet metal, plastics and resins (cutting, sanding, drilling, turning, milling, welding, etc.). Hand tools are available on site, with supervised access to power tools and machine tools.
The digital workshop, accessible by appointment from Licence 3, is equipped with a laser cutter, a CNC digital milling machine, two 3D printers and a Zünd digital cutting table.
