Transfer from another school of architecture

Audiences and conditions

This applies only to students enrolled in one of the 21 French national schools of architecture (ENSA) run by the Ministry of Culture, who wish to continue their studies at the École nationale supérieure d’architecture de Paris-la Villette.

No transfers are possible between ENSA Paris-la Villette and foreign schools of architecture or any other school that is not a French ENSA.

Transfers are subject to ENSAPLV’s capacity.

• Priority is given to transfers from Licence 3 to Master 1.
• Transfers during the cycle may be considered on an exceptional basis. Requests must be supported by documentary evidence.
• Repeat transfers are not accepted.
• Master 2 transfers are not accepted.

 

Calendar 2025-2026

• Application period: January 15 to March 15, 2025
• Deadline for ENSAPLV to reply to applications: May 20, 2025
• Deadline for student responses to ENSAPLV: June 1, 2025
  (after this date, students who have not responded after being accepted by the school will be considered to have withdrawn).

 

File

Students must go to their Taïga student portal student portal and select the 2025-2026 academic year, then click on the “Transfer” tab to obtain a favorable transfer decision from his or her home ENSA.

Once his application has been accepted by his home ENSA, he applies via your Taïga portal (academic year 2025-2026) to the ENSAs he wants to transfer to.

 

Documents to be provided :

• a cover letter ;
• a brief A4 portfolio of the student’s architectural work;
• an identity card.

 

Incomplete applications will not be examined.
